  • (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2013 - Classic Holidays reports that managed resort, Don Pancho Beach Resort in the Queensland town of Bargara, near Bundaberg, is fully operational and back to normal following the effects of the January 26 storm which impacted the region.

Due to the dedication of resort managers Kelley and Craig Hutchinson, resort personnel and the efforts of local contractors, the resort is welcoming guests and providing excellent holiday experiences as it looks forward to April and the ANZAC Day holiday.

"We are extremely proud of the work that Kelley and Craig have done to go above and beyond our expectations to ensure that our members enjoy their holiday at Don Pancho," said Ramy Filo, CEO, Classic Holidays. "While they dealt with the cleanup and restoration work, they also had our guests to look after and, from the reaction of those guests, it appears the resort has successfully overcome the challenge."

Visitors surveyed who stayed at the resort in February enjoyed their resort experience according to their survey responses:

Classic reported that they received 17 cancellations as a result of the storm, all of whom were or will be accommodated with alternative holiday accommodation.
