- (1888PressRelease) May 01, 2019 - Stacy Varney, Global Head of Sales & Marketing at ClaimVantage, will present at the upcoming Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association conference (CLHIA) which will take place May 7th - 9th in Vancouver, Canada.
ClaimVantage provides innovative InsurTech solutions to the life and disability market to help insurance carriers overcome struggles with inefficient processes and legacy systems. Stacy joined the ClaimVantage team in late 2018 to further establish the company in the InsurTech space.
Stacy’s presentation will look at how to future-proof claims departments. As the world has finally realized that the Cloud is a safe place to be, more and more businesses have moved from accepting it to embracing it. In this session, the audience will hear about how the insurance industry, typically a slow adopter of technology, is beginning to understand that the Cloud is our future. Using case studies and real-life examples, Stacy will discuss how cloud-based technology is benefiting insurers by offering opportunities for them to differentiate themselves in the market and deliver an improved customer experience.
The audience will learn about the importance of differentiating between building software solutions in the cloud, and simply purchasing space in the cloud. In this session, the audience will learn about the many benefits of adopting a true cloud-based technology, including the demise of legacy systems, the associated cost benefits of no longer maintaining mainframe systems, and how the cloud can provide a better user experience for both policyholders and claims professionals.
The CLHIA is a voluntary association whose member companies account for 99 per cent of Canada's life and health insurance business. The industry provides a wide range of financial security products such as life insurance, annuities (including RRSPs, RRIFs and pensions) and supplementary health insurance to more than 29 million Canadians.
