    Carl Terzian, chairman of Carl Terzian Associates, will accept the Los Angeles Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) 2012 Community Champion Award at the Breakfast of Champions Gala to be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, Diamond Ballroom at L.A. Live on Friday, December 7, from 7:30am to 9:30am.

    Mr. Terzian, the dean of public relations in Los Angeles, has been successfully providing public relations counsel for over 5,000 non-profits, corporations, individuals and institutions for more than forty-three years. He is nationally recognized and respected for his communications, community involvement and human relations talent and philosophy. He continues to provide effective and relevant tools for the success of civic and charity based organizations and has a very unique method for networking corporations with extremely relevant community programs. Service to others has been a part of his portfolio since graduating Student Body President, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi from the University of Southern California.

    Before establishing his own full-service public relations firm in 1969, Mr. Terzian served as international goodwill ambassador for President Eisenhower and Secretary of State John Foster Dulles; Director of Church and Public Relations for the Lutheran Hospital Society of Southern California; civic affairs consultant to Coast Savings and Loan Association; dean and professor of government and speech at Woodbury University; and public affairs director for famed architect Charles Luckman.
