  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 02, 2010 - Citrin Cooperman, a leading regional accounting and business consulting firm, announced today that the partners and staff of Schwartz & Hofflich have joined the firm, effective Nov. 1, continuing Citrin Cooperman's expansion and growth in Connecticut. The firm also announced that it will close its Southport office and will move into the Schwartz & Hofflich office located at 37 North Avenue in Norwalk. The firm's Connecticut office now includes 7 partners and 20 staff.

    The addition of the former partners and staff of Schwartz & Hofflich expands the firm to more than 375 people, including 91 partners, and more than $100 million in estimated annual revenue.

    Citrin Cooperman also has offices in New York City, White Plains, N.Y, Springfield, N.J., and Philadelphia.

    These partners bring revenues in excess of $4 million, and have a strong practice in audit, tax and business consulting. In addition to architectural and engineering firms, the partners have experience in a wide range of industries, including construction, financial services, real estate and distribution and manufacturing, wealth management and valuation and forensic services.

    In the latest rankings from accounting trade magazines Accounting Today and Inside Public Accounting, Citrin Cooperman is among the top 35 accounting firms in the United States and was designated a Best Accounting Firm to Work for again in 2010 by Accounting Today.
