  • (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2012 - Clearly there are many humanitarians in the world today. The Hands On Nashville volunteer organization lists over 100 partner organizations on its website that exist to help society in some shape or form. But when a someone or a group wants to help others, how do they organize themselves to do it? How is it possible to be more efficient, be more successful as a leader, and grow your charitable organization?

In answer to this and much more, the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville is hosting a 2-day seminar this June called the Ability Congress. Humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard who founded the Scientology religion first began bringing Scientologists and non-Scientologists together in the early 1950s to present his breakthrough materials about the essential components of life. These meetings became known as "congresses," from that word's original meaning as an "assembly" or "coming together." Contained in Mr. Hubbard's congress lectures are milestone discoveries about the spirit and the handling of life.

During the Ability Congress, Mr. Hubbard said, "So we learn this other factor: that a person's ability never diminishes, but that his willingness and his knowingness do." The Ability Congress specifically addresses concerns about forging groups and organizations-even uniting nations. The congress will be filled with lectures as well as practical exercises designed to help the attendees increase their spiritual ability and improve the world around them.

Rev. Brian Fesler, pastor of the church said, "Hubbard delivered these lectures in the formative years of Scientology. They were well-attended and very popular. The staff who will be bringing them to Nashville are taking every step to ensure they are true to their original form." Fesler says this event will mark the first appearance of such a service in Nashville.

The event will last all day Saturday June 2nd, and Sunday June 3rd until 6pm, at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville, 1130 8th Ave S, Nashville TN. For more information or to reserve a seat, contact Julie Brinker at 615-687-4600.
