  • (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2016 - FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - CCE, a leading engineering software and services provider, announced a new release of its CAD viewer and translator software, EnSuite, with support for latest CAD formats and other useful features for easier handling of assembly data.

EnSuite's latest update includes support for Autodesk Inventor 2017 and Solid Edge ST9. This is in addition to support for other latest CAD formats like CATIA V5-6R2016 (R26), NX 10, JT 10 and Parasolid 28 in updates earlier this year. "With this latest EnSuite update, we continue our commitment to our customers to keep pace with latest CAD versions," said Vinay Wagle, CCE's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Besides support for latest CAD versions, EnSuite now allows an option to process hidden components in an assembly. Also, in a major usability upgrade, users can now show all child components, including hidden components, using one click, making it easy for people who work with large assemblies. "Usability is clearly of great importance for software companies for continued adoption in the marketplace. It's not enough today to just develop great software if it's not easy to use. The seemingly simple usability updates we made, with an eye at easier handling of assemblies, are in reality of huge benefit to our customers who deal with large assemblies," added Wagle.

Customers with an active subscription can get free access to these new EnSuite updates.
