  • (1888PressRelease) January 06, 2021 - UAE’s Capital College, the region’s leading higher education institution and the first entrepreneurship college wins the Best Emerging Business School of the year at the 2nd International Business and Academic Excellence (IBAE) Awards 2020; presented by the prestigious GISR Foundation. The college bagged this award for their consistent performance as a higher education body which was effectively supported by their international university partners, memberships that created social awareness and instilled a sense of responsibility among its students. Apart from launching a new partnership with a globally top ranked European business school and launching ten new management programs, the college was commended for holding memberships with sustainable development-centric organizations like PRME and EAUC.

    As per research, the Middle East has transformed as one of the growing hubs for industrialists and entrepreneurs where MENA’s investment startup rose to over $700 billion in 2019 alone. With the United Arab Emirates accounting for almost 60% of the funding followed by Egypt in the second position, the pandemic has further accelerated individuals to venture into entrepreneurship. In line with this, Capital College believes that higher education for the management sector will boost one’s knowledge and practical experience to successfully venture into the industry and grow.     The award was presented by the GISR foundation at the IBAE awards where leading and emerging startups, corporations, institutions/universities and professionals from diverse industries are awarded for their extraordinary work displayed and has significantly contributed towards the region’s business market. Nominations come from over 15 Asian and Middle Eastern countries to showcase excellence in the field of business and academia. The nominations were reviewed by the Jury Panel of IBAE Awards 2020 and recommendations by the Executive Committee for approval.

Recently, the college has launched 10 bilingual and European Accredited International programs in exclusive partnership with Rome Business School.
