Berry and Duane Farley of The AMG Corp. based in Toronto, Canada (www.theamgcorp.com) will be Executive Producing & Music Supervising Brooke Halpin’s and Frank Thurmond’s much talked about screenplay, “A Magical Mystery Time”.

    Adapted from the novel based on a true story written by Brooke Halpin, A Magical Mystery Time is a period piece about the fascinating, culturally changing 1960’s and the highly impactful influences the Beatles had on the world's teenagers. Their seven years of turning on a young generation during the time they were together, performing, recording and releasing hit after hit records, captivated the life of the main character, Tommy Murphy.

    Unlike other movies about the Beatles, “A Magical Mystery Time” portrays how the Beatles changed Tommy’s life and how he did whatever the Beatles did. He had to play the guitar and sing like them, wear a Beatles haircut, and had a series of bands, which eventually led to recording an album in NYC. Tommy spoke like the Beatles with a Liverpool accent, and he attracted many girls, including his future wife, Jenny.

    When having dreams about the Beatles, John Lennon changed his name to Trevor and told him he was one of the Beatles. Now Trevor thought he was a Beatle and believed that the Beatles knew him. Trevor’s father hated the Beatles and what they did to Trevor, creating frightening tension between them, while his mother supported Trevor and his dreams. After a few false starts, it was the team of Brooke Halpin and Vin Muoio who did not stop and found the right production company. Given AMG’s many accomplishments, it was a perfect fit for “A Magical Mystery Time”.
