  • (1888PressRelease) December 23, 2017 - Located in Dover, Delaware, the University has 42 undergraduate degree programs, 16 master’s degree programs and five doctoral degree programs. For more than 126 years, Delaware State University has served the state, the nation, and the world through education and outreach.

Delighted to receive the Grant, Dr. Vita Pickrum, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Delaware State University spoke about the support they received and stated, “We are excited about increasing our capacity here at Delaware State University to serve our students. DSU currently serves students via a web-based, non-mobile-based platform, which limits their educational experience in accessing DSU services from a mobile device. The Mobile Campus app will focus on a fully integrated One Stop Service Center for DSU students which we had been looking at for a long time”.

The Campus Consortium Grant will enable Delaware State University to build their official mobile app through the technology provider Unifyed. The mobile app will consist of 14 basic applets like Campus News, Emergency Numbers, Campus Events, Social Media, Parking, Dinning etc. In addition, it will also feature Unifyed Applets for LMS, Academic, Financial Aid and Unifyed Campus Bulletin Board, What’s Up.

“This mobile app solution provides out of the box integration and increases engagement, in addition to the beauty of adding new features on the go. We believe this will be a fantastic opportunity for Delaware State University to grow and we wish them all the luck.”, states Anjli Jain, Chairman of the Campus Consortium. "We congratulate them on receiving the Campus Consortium Grant.”
