  • (1888PressRelease) July 10, 2011 - This September 13th, at Rex Hotel Saigon, the International Travel Exhibition HCMC 2011 will launched its sub-event "The Tourism Investment Conference 2011" to enhance the regional tourism development in the cluster of Cambodia - Laos - Myanmar - Vietnam.

    The Tourism Investment Conference would be hold once per two years under the ITE HCMC program, as an opportune platform to showcase the latest tourism developments in Four Countries that are opened to major International and Asian investors in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.

    The TIC 2011 provides a timely platform for the interactive discussion between ministerial delegates, tourism experts from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam and participants on the abundant investment opportunities in these 4 countries. Adopting the theme, 4Code - "Four countries One destination", the TIC 2011 combines three workshop in a day, which features the topics on linking regional transportation development, investment attraction in entertainment - recreation complex and case studies on new tourism business models.

    In addition, it brings forth a stellar cast of recognized speakers such as Mr. Phan Huu Thang, Director of Foreign Investment Research Center of National University - Hanoi, Mr Dinh Ngoc Duc, Director of International Cooperation Department, Mr Luong Van Ly, CEO of DNL Partners (Investment specialist), Mr. Lawrence Ho, CEO of Melco International Development (Macau-China), Mr Eric Chan, Deputy CEO of Bokkor Integrated City (Sokimex Group - Cambodia) and the Representative of Asian Development Bank.
