"Five years ago this coming April, we introduced C2Call, our one-click communications technology, which has since evolved into our flagship app, FriendCaller, the world's first social communication app," said Michael Knecht, CTO of C2Call GmbH. "Today, we are proud to have more than 10 million FriendCaller users who are communicating with friends, individually or in groups, across all popular mobile communications platforms including Apple iOS and Android devices, Facebook, and via their browsers, using voice, video chat, SMS, photo and video sharing, and location sharing."

With the launch of its SDK for mobile application developers, C2Call will provide developers of Android, Apple iOS and browser-based apps with access the "one-click" video calling, voice and messaging functionality that was only previously available through FriendCaller. By integrating the C2Call's technology into their mobile apps, developers can make it possible for their users to communicate across devices, apps and platforms, all from inside their app.
Some of FriendCaller's unique features include HD video calling that supports up to seven participants, with the capability to add an additional 20 participants in a voice-only chat, areal phone number, photo and video sharing, location sharing, Text Messaging (SMS),Browser Phone, Caller-ID, CallMe-Links, and video calling. FriendCaller also offers multi-lingual support for the English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Chinese languages.

C2Call developed FriendCaller using unique and complex algorithms that leverage cloud-hosted technology. "Building apps in the cloud can be a difficult process, and we are grateful to the development community for supporting us over the past five years," said Martin Feuerhahn, CEO of C2Call GmbH. "By launching the SDK, we are saying thank you to mobile app developers for encouraging us to continue to push the envelope with FriendCaller."

C2Call's SDK is scheduled to launch in private beta in April 2013, as part of C2Call's fifth anniversary celebration. The SDK will be offered free of charge to developers, who along with the SDK, will also receive free cloud hosting services and monetization capabilities. Mobile app developers interested in participating in the private beta should register atwww.c2call.com. The SDK will be available to the broader development community in late Q2'13.
