C-Donte to Appear at City Winery

- (1888PressRelease) July 23, 2012 - New York, NY - Songwriter/singer/guitarist C-Donté will be appearing live at the popular City Winery in NYC on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 11:00 PM, in a performance presented by Big Mountain Entertainment. C-Donté combines a mix of styles that reflect today's Club Rock Romantic, that is, dance music to the max with a truly unique flair. He is an original songwriter, engaging performer and showman, and at City Winery he'll be playing tunes with his band from his yet untitled CD, to be released later this year.
C-Donté is currently in the studio diligently working on his soon to be released debut CD. He wrote and produced his first song at the age of fifteen and has been developing his compelling and unique sound over the past few years by continuing to write and produce new material while playing many live shows in and around the tri-state area. From the Pyramid Club in NYC, the Meat Locker in Montclair, NJ, the XL Lounge in Newark, to opening for Ted Wizard Mills & Blue Magic and The BT Express Band in Atlantic City, audience response has been dedicated and enthusiastic, appealing to a dazzled and diverse array of music fans. And make no mistake about it, C-Donté's music is party music that makes you want to dance, dance, dance until you drop!
C-Donté is not simply a music artist, but a truly renaissance performing artist. Earning his Broadcast Media & Film B.A. from Kean University and studying acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, among others, he is an actor who's appeared in feature films such as "Soap Opera" and "Odometer Ordering"; on TV shows, including as co-star in ABC's "School House Rock" and as 'Charles' in ABC's "Loving City," as host on "Media & You" on cable; in commercials with Michael Jordan in "Space Jam," Ed McMahon in an anti-smoking PSA, and for such venerable name brands as Campbell's Soup and KFC, to name but a few. C-Donté's performance at City Winery is sure to be a party from start to finish-so don't forget to wear your dancing shoes!
