    Throughout the next year Walsh will act as a spokesperson for the NCPF, help recruit new members as well as help to develop positive sponsorships throughout the poultry industry. The position was previously held by Jerry Johnson, director of purchasing at Butterball, who announced his retirement at the annual banquet. Johnson has been an active member of the poultry industry since 1969.
