Bret Michaels Set To "Rock the Waterfront"
Executive Council Charities announces The Council members will host, "Rock the Waterfront," a charity concert featuring Bret Michaels and several other bands benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital and The Boys & Girls Club of Scottsdale on May 13.
- (1888PressRelease) May 05, 2011 - Phoenix, AZ - The leadership of Executive Council Charities announces The Council members will host, "Rock the Waterfront," a charity concert featuring former Poison front man Bret Michaels. The concert benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital and The Boys & Girls Club of Scottsdale will be held on May 13.
Bret Michaels will headline the show and will take the and will also feature the several other bands opening for him including; Jeordie & the Mixology Project at 4:30pm ( http://www.myspace.com/jeordiethemixologyproject ), Random Karma at 6PM ( http://www.randomkarma.com ), Walkins at 7:30pm ( http://www.thewalkens.com ) and Bret Michaels at 9PM ( http://www.bretmichaels.com ). "Rock the Waterfront" will be held at the Scottsdale Waterfront on Friday, May 13 from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Tickets are $35 for general admission and $125 for "Golden Circle" admission, which includes food and six drinks as well as access to VIP seating, bars and restrooms. Food and beverages will be also available for purchase inside the gates.
The Council has more than 37 years of experience organizing some of the Valley's most prominent charity events benefiting Arizona youth, including "The Original Taste."
Michaels' passion for raising funds for youth, combined with his strong ties to Arizona, made him a natural choice to headline their latest venture, "Rock the Waterfront."
"I'm honored to partner with The Council to support these charities,'" Michaels said. "It is a great local organization, and as a life-long diabetic I can truly appreciate what a difference these charities are making to children's lives."
