Bolillo Tortas Opens in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter

San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2011 - Bolillo Tortas, the Gaslamp Quarter's first restaurant specializing in tortas, will open in mid October. The authentic torta restaurant will combine delicious flavors, a comfortable and modern atmosphere and reasonable prices for an experience guests won't soon forget.

"Bolillo Tortas is unlike anything else in San Diego," said founder and owner Stefano Pezzotti. "Guests will redefine their ideas of Mexican cuisine and Mexican culture when they dine at Bolillo."

Bolillo Tortas will offer Tortas and salads that are prepared fresh and made to order. The restaurant will offer a selection of 20 international and handcrafted beers and a selection of wines.

The 2,100 square-foot fast-casual restaurant will feature a 40-seat indoor capacity, open kitchen and bar seating and a 20-seat outdoor covered patio area.

Bolillo Tortas will provide parking validation for the 4th and J Street parking structure (up to 30 minutes) or will provide quarters for parking meters. Bolillo Tortas will provide free delivery with no minimum purchase in surrounding areas of Downtown San Diego. Guests will also be able to order online.

Bolillo Tortas is located at 417 4th Avenue in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. The restaurant will be open 8:00 a.m.-midnight Sunday-Thursday and 8:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
