  • Stockton, CA (1888PressRelease) April 17, 2012 - Timothy K. Fitzgerald, Author, Writer, Economist for Strategic Book Publishing, has been selected as an Executive Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Timothy K. Fitzgerald's commitment to excellence in Publishing and Entertainment.

Fitzgerald, who holds a BA in Economics, Business and History, and three Master's Degrees, one in Social Science and Economics, one in History, and one in Philosophy, all from San Jose State College, began writing over thirty years ago, doing mostly OpEd pieces, articles and self-published works, and more recently as a political correspondent for Mammoth Lake's Mono County Review Herald.

Since 2000, Fitzgerald has been working diligently to create a half dozen manuscripts with Strategic Book Publishing, including memoirs and a social history trilogy, and have them published.

In hopes of telling his own story and after the completion of his master's thesis, Fitzgerald became inspired to go on to publish the nature of political culture as it has developed over the past century, teach the results of his research and to make his mark in California political thought - he is a candidate for the 2012 State Legislature as a member of the California Democratic Party.

"I was impressed that our generation has changed the text and context of the nation's political culture and accompanied my desire to make a permanent record of their story," Fitzgerald said in relation to his future plans.

Fitzgerald is a member of the Sierra Club and AARP. He has worked hard during his undergraduate years to promote change, including helping to implement a new form of 'All College Student/Faculty' governing apparatus that broke the color barrier within the California State College student body. He also helped change the public agenda during his post graduate days, to become a leading figure in the new statewide Green Party of California. He also led a movement throughout Northern California and the national Green Movement, which rejected the Yosemite Valley Redevelopment plan. When Fitzgerald isn't busy working or volunteering his time, he enjoys photography, traveling and spending quality time with friends.
