The selection recognizes Rosemary Stone-Dougherty's commitment to excellence in Law.

    Stone-Dougherty, who holds an AA in Paralegal Studies from Palm Beach Community College, a BA in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University, an MBA from W.P. Stillman School of Business and a JD from Seton Hall University, passed both the New Jersey and Florida Bar exams in 2002.

    Her practice, which focuses on land use related issues like residential and commercial real estate closings, variance applications, site plans, subdivisions, new constructions and additions, construction financing, change of commercial tenancies, board of adjustment and planning board applications and municipal representation, business contracts and formation and similarly related issues, is a result of a desire to re-enter the work force after raising her children and wanting to successfully work for herself to make a difference in her field.

    Having always known since she was a little girl that she wanted to practice law, Stone-Dougherty prides her organization on valuing her clients.

    Stone-Dougherty is a member of the Florida Bar and the New Jersey Bar and is a member of the US District Court. She was admitted as an attorney and counselor to the Supreme Court of the US in Washington, DC in October of 2008. She received an Excellence Award and an Achievement Award with a lifetime membership through the National Association of Professional Women. She also received a Congressional Medal of Distinction in 2006 for outstanding leadership in business and contributions to the economy and a National Leadership Award and Business Woman of the Year Award from the National Business Advisory Council in 2006.
