  • Fort Worth-Arlington, TX (1888PressRelease) May 02, 2012 - Richard Warriner, Regional Manager for Foley Material Handling Company, Inc./Virginia Crane, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Richard Warriner's commitment to excellence in Manufacturing.

    Warriner, who studied mechanical engineering at Cleveland State University and is certified in materials handling management, began his career with American Monorail in 1967 working in the engineering department. He quickly discovered he was more attracted to the application engineering and sales aspect of the business, including an integral involvement in a wide variety of industrial processes.

    As regional manager of his current organization, Warriner is responsible for the external and field phase of their projects in the Mid-South, Western, and Southwestern US, all of Mexico and Western Canada. He oversees project management of installations and is responsible for their profit and loss. He is charged with managing all sub-contractors, equipment procurement, scheduling, and resolution of all issues. He also handles sales and marketing by authoring proposals, representing the company in key industry organizations, and serves as a direct contact and liaison with customers, engineering corporations, and consultants. He also provides instructional seminars and presentations to major engineering concerns and customers.

    Feeling an obligation to mentor and pass one what he has learned as it was conveyed to him throughout his career, Warriner hopes to leave a legacy that will aid in the advancement of his organization and the people with whom he is affiliated.

    Warriner received numerous awards throughout his career, including being named Outstanding Jaycee Chapter Board Member in 1972 and Outstanding Jaycee Local Chapter President of Northern Ohio in 1973. He was also recognized as Salesman of the Year for Kranco, Inc. in 1990 and received numerous Certificates of Appreciation for contributions to various industrial trade organizations such as AIST. He also previously served as vice-president and general manager of other companies and organizations.
