  • Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2011 - Phillip Bell, Jr., Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Bell/MEAC, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Phillip Bell, Jr.'s commitment to excellence in Education and Fitness.

Bell, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education and Spanish from Bowie State University and a Master's Degree in African-American History and Sociology from Vermont College, founded his organization in 1989 during his time as a graduate student.

Working at home as a home and hospital teacher, Bell developed his own support services as a business concept and later was able to take it to the next level as a working model. Officially incorporated in the state of Maryland in 1995, he now provides day to day support services in academics, sports and fitness, and mentoring. The majority of his time, however, is devoted to providing the overall leadership to six other consultants and fulfilling almost all major duties that are related to the vision, funding, management and ownership responsibilities of running his organization.

"Growing up as a son of a funeral director," Bell explained, "sparked my independent self-ownership attitude."

Hoping to expose a new sport of which he invented, tagball, Bell also wants to continue in maintaining a positive legacy that will last well beyond his years. Most importantly, he wants to be remembered as a positive role model to his kids and have the opportunity to pay it forward by conducting as much motivational speaking as possible.

Bell is the owner of two patents and also authored a book, entitled, "Run in MY Shoe"s. He is a member of AFTRA. When he isn't busy working, Phillip enjoys volunteering through his local church, exercising, dancing and writing
