Biltmore Who's Who Selects Paula Reyes as a Featured Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Edison, NJ (1888PressRelease) February 22, 2012 - Paula Reyes, Quality Assurance Manager at Sun Pharmaceuticals, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Paula Reyes' commitment to excellence in Manufacturing.
Reyes, who holds a BS in Biology and Psychology and an MA in Child Psychology, both from Montclair State University, began working in her career in 2000 as a temporary technician at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Within six months, she was given a permanent position as a scientist in the Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory.
Currently managing the QA Compliance and Operations group to ensure all federal and internal requirements are met, which includes overseeing the document control, quality events systems (investigations, complaints, corrective and preventive actions), change controls, audits, sampling, batch release and manufacturing, Reyes also oversees a host of other responsibilities.
Since completing her externship program in child psychology in 2006, Reyes has also been pursuing her role as a therapist, by helping strengthen individuals and families by providing support through family-centered services during critical times. The programs are designed to build on family and individual strengths, address specific problems and teach coping skills via personalized behavior health services.
"I have worked hard to attain these two rewarding careers," Reyes said. I've also had the pleasure to collaborate with wonderful colleagues and management. I have been blessed with an extremely supportive family. I have two amazing boys who inspire me to provide them with love, patience and humility, and most of the values that my parents instilled in me throughout my entire life."
Hoping to branch out into other professional areas, Reyes would like to work in either the regulatory or auditing specialties aspect of pharmaceuticals, and to also gain more exposure in school counseling.
Reyes is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Society for Quality. When she isn't busy working, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
