Graddy, who began working for Elite RV Services just this year after spending thirteen years working for the University of Notre Dame, began a challenging position offering an exciting opportunity with the ability to work closely with clients and room for growth.
Serving the private sector, which consists of RV owners that travel the US year round, the company provides one-stop service for all customers' needs. Working closely with the director of operations and the director of marketing, Graddy and her associates ensure that all clients get the best service possible. Overseeing the day to day activities in the office, she also greets customers and takes information on their renovation and service repair needs, secures hotel accommodations should a customer need to stay overnight during repair, shares local attraction information, and handles accounts receivable and payable, marketing and public relations, just to name a few.
Working with the public her entire career, whether in sales, the medical field, or otherwise, Graddy has grown her hospitality skill set and really enjoy serving the people. "Getting to know my customers has resulted in friendships that will last a lifetime. That is the most satisfying aspect of my position at Elite RV Services," she explained. "Our team is a rare find. They are involved in the community and are trustworthy; real people of integrity."
The company hopes to expand soon and open new service centers around the US. Graddy explained that they want to have more than one location for their customers to make it more convenient for them, wherever their travels take them. "Helping people with their problems is very satisfying. When a home on wheels isn't operating properly, it is not only frustrating, but dangerous," she said. "People arrive in need of help and leave as happy members of our extended family." She added that almost all of her customers stay in touch via email and often stop in to say hello when driving through the area.
Graddy is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She also volunteers with a number of organizations, including Feed the Children, Crooked Creek Ranch of Waukarusa, Indiana, and Habitat for Humanity. In her free time, Michele enjoys kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding.
