Melnarik's commitment to excellence in the field of Business and Distribution.
Melnarik, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of South Dakota, followed by a Master's Degree in Education from the State University of Indiana, spent twelve years as a teacher in both Iowa and Indiana before retiring from the field and switching careers.
Founded in the late 80s, Melnarik aspired to start her own business. Priding on being as green as possible, part of the company's business involves recycling foam products, something she believes is really important for the environment. She makes sure all aspects of her organization runs smoothly, and she also handles all of the finances. Juggling responsibilities are also a very important aspect of her job. "Working with school children has helped me with time management skills," she said. "Organization is very important." The company, which distributes cushion, tack strips and all related equipment for carpet installation, has been in business for over twenty-two years.
Hoping to see the business and retire in the near future, Melnarik volunteers within her local community serving the youth. She's a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She also enjoys dancing, reading and traveling in her free time.
