Biltmore Who's Who Selects Janice Walker as a Featured Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Janice Walker's commitment to excellence in Chiropractic Care.
Walker, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Secretarial Science from Spartanburg Technical College, is a certified chiropractic assistant with almost twenty five years experience in the field.
Beginning as an insurance clerk in 1987 before making her way up to an office manager managing five different clinics, Walker wanted to learn how to teach insurance billing and how insurance companies work. Currently, she's overseeing her office by greeting patients and checking them in, giving out new patient paperwork and getting proper insurance information from them. She handles bookkeeping, compliance and HIPPA issues and is also licensed to take x-rays.
"The most important part of the job is to treat people as people, not as numbers as so many offices do," Walker said about her patients. "I am determined to help people understand about insurance billing, claims and especially in helping the elderly."
Aspiring to own her own consulting business and be a co-owner of a chiropractic office in the near future, Walker looks forward to her future days before retirement. After having been mentored by some great leaders in the industry, she plans to pay it forward by doing the same.
Walker is a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association. She is the recipient of a First Place Award in Machine Transcription, a Distinguished Service Award from Kale Chiropractic and Research Center, and was also named to the International Who's Who in 1999. When she's not busy working, Janice enjoys singing, going to church and spending time with her family.
