  • Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) November 01, 2011 - Gary B. La Forest, Managing Partner and Economic and Political Developer for Citizens Restoration Corporation, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Gary B. La Forest's commitment to excellence in Business Services and Citizen Restoration.

La Forest, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Stonehill College, a Master's Degree in Divinity from Weston College of Theology, and a Master's Degree in Administration, Planning, Social Policy, Organizational Learning and Behavior from Harvard University, began working in his field in the fall of 1963 after being accepted to the seminary of Holy Cross Fathers.

Currently continuing in his passion of theological issues, including morality and ethics, La Forest strives to develop projects for his organization that address and meet the public needs that often go unmet. They act as an agency to bring people together and solve problems by designing projects in solvable terms.

"Two things have remained constant in my experience," La Forest said about his career, "first, theological belief and hope, and second, education. Doing the hard work that is involved goes a long way."

With aspirations of continuing to do good work and have an open mind to all that his future has in store for him, La Forest is also looking to teach at the college level and be able to share his knowledge with the younger generation.

While at Harvard University, La Forest was designated as a White House Fellow. He has been noted for many achievements over the course of his career, including contributing to the reorganization of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon and helping with the redesign and reform of the Information Services Department with the Management Services Department of the US Navy Underwater System Center in Newport, Rhode Island and New London, Connecticut. He volunteers his time by teaching inner city youth in area high schools. When Gary isn't busy working or volunteering, he enjoys playing the piano and giving voice lessons.
