Majer, who holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from William Rainey Harper University, has been writing and publishing children's books for the past two years, after retiring from a long career in business and management.
In his current role, Majer writes, publishes and illustrates books. He also authors manuscripts and edits advertisement and layout design as well. His responsibilities are to develop the team and supply the funds to achieve the goal of publishing two children's books, ages four to eight years and nine to eighteen years.
After holding numerous executive roles throughout the life of his career, including vice-president, district manager and general manager titles, Majer said, "I decided to change my vision because of my wife and work towards the goal of her dream to write a cookbook."
Most recently, Majer released Taste of Tilley's in 2011, a cookbook that can be purchased on his website.
Majer is a member of Arbor Foundation, the National Street Machine Club, Machine Club-Street Machine and the Sierra Club. When David isn't busy working, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf and antiquing.
