  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2010 - Adrienne Willis-Bradshaw, Author and Writer, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

Willis-Bradshaw, who earned a BS in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University, followed by an MA in Adult Education from Central Michigan University, has authored a book, titled Partly Cloudy with a Chance or Rain, published in March of 2009.

After spending time in the hospital battling a life-threatening blood disorder, Coombs Positive Auto-Immune Hemalytic Anemia, Willis-Bradshaw began journaling her experience. "My diary entries eventually blossomed into an inspirational guide for others facing illness," she explained. "With humor, personal insight, and scripture, the book gives others the courage to persevere because God is bigger than any sickness."

Feeling a sense of purpose to encourage others, especially those facing health problems, Willis-Bradshaw is a three-time cancer survivor who received a stem cell transplant this past July. "These obstacles have given me a toolbox of knowledge to share with others in similar situations," she said. "I have a personal responsibility to help people see their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."

Willis-Bradshaw is a certified teacher and spent nine years teaching in the Dekalb County School System. She speaks at numerous speaking engagements, including at the Light the Nite engagement presented by the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in 2008 and for Walk in the Light Ministries in 2009. She hopes to write more books in the near future and author articles for cancer and Christian magazines. Her book has been mentioned on the Larry Tinsley Morning Show in Atlanta, Georgia and she was also a special guest of the Krystal Grant Show. She's donated a number of her books to cancer wellness center libraries around the country. Her book is currently being sold through Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and available on Kindle.
