Bill Tome is a recognized community leader in Palm Beach County - both as a retired Boynton Beach County Police Officer and as a current Palm Beach County School District Officer - and his charitable efforts have spanned his entire 25-year career in South Florida. The Foundation's spotlight Back to School Clothing Drive, Scholarships for Extra Curricular Activities and Summer Camp are centerpieces of their work, as is Bill's involvement in local area youth sports and athletics and the mentoring aspects of the Foundation's efforts. "The opportunities we give children who otherwise may have not had a chance to achieve has a tremendous positive impact on the neighborhoods in which those children and families live. They become catalysts for real and lasting change in South Florida, as they seek to pay it forward to others in the future."

Pre-registration for the Bill Tome Foundation Golf Classic is already open. Sponsorships range from $5000 for a Gold Sponsorship which includes entry of two foursomes in the golf tournament, company or organization name recognition on the course, signage at registration and awards ceremony, and two tee-box signs; to individual foursomes at $600; individual golfers at $150; and numerous other tax-deductible donation and sponsorship levels in between.

In addition to the Golf Classic itself, other events for the day include raffle prizes, putting contests, and a silent auction.
