Bestselling Novel The Hunger Game adapted into Movie
The trend in Hollywood to make movies from the bestseller novel has proved to be very profitable. Harry Potter, Twilight were diamonds. Latest addition in this list is Hunger Game.

But all in all Hollywood has produced many blockbusters through this method. The film producer David Heyman's after reading the first book decided to adapt the novel into a movie and Harry Potter turn out to be the most successful cinematic franchise of all time. Harry Potter's eight movie series earned around seven billion dollars.
Similar is the story of The Twilight Saga. Written by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight is an unusual love story of a Vampire and a human girl. The novel was an instant hit among all age group and set many records. Summit Entertainment took the rights for picturing the novel and results were mind-blowing. Till now the four movies of Twilight franchise has earned approx 2 billion dollars and last movie is set to release next year.
Very soon on 23rd March 2012, another fantasy novel turned movie will be hitting the silver screen. We are talking about The Hunger Game. It is based on the novel The Hunger Game by Suzanne Collins. There are total three books in Hunger Games series in which first book has been converted into the movie and will be releasing soon in March. Just like Harry Potter and Twilight, Hunger Game Trilogy is also a bestseller and has huge number of fans all across the world. Hunger Game is also expected to be a blockbuster.
