  • (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2013 - The UK-based producer of honeycomb composite structures will be marking two and a half decades of success.

The parent company was established in 1988 and has since expanded into a highly successful British enterprise with a worldwide presence. In the last year, it continued to grow despite the difficult economic climate, increasing its export products in the region of 11.5%.

Since its inception, Bespoke Composite Panels has rapidly grown to achieve recognition in the production of composite panels for a worldwide market.

The aluminium honeycomb core utilised within much of the BCP range, has been granted the Wheelmark approval for use onboard European or American marine vessels. At the start of 2012, the process for producing this core was also awarded accreditation to BS EN 9100. This has paved the way for BCP to start marketing its range of strong and lightweight panels to the aerospace sector.

Managing Director Dr Mike Ashmead says:

"To have achieved a quarter-century of successful business is a brilliant accomplishment.

We owe our success to innovation, flexibility and a can-do attitude. We also believe that learning and continuous development is incredibly important.

Over the last two and a half decades we have risen to a huge number of challenges and have always aimed to meet our customers' wants and needs. I am extremely pleased to be able to celebrate 25 years of success this year."

Bespoke Composite Panels currently exports to 25 countries as well as supplying panels to a large number of customers in the UK. The division is involved in a range of projects in industries including vacuum printing and rail interiors.

As well as aluminium core-based panels, it also distributes polypropylene and parent honeycomb composite panels and is able to apply a range of surfaces to the panels.
