  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2012 - This distinction highlights executives and entrepreneurs 39 years of age and younger who are, according to the Dallas Business Journal's Managing Editor Katherine Cromer Brock, "at the top of their game professionally, and personally have demonstrated a commitment to the North Texas community."

"Chris is a results-focused individual who is driven by his clients' needs and a desire to help them succeed in today's marketplace," said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally. "All of us at the firm warmly congratulate him on this accolade."

As a trial attorney with a particular emphasis on complex business disputes, Trowbridge maintains an active docket and regularly tries cases before juries and judges across the country. Earlier this year, he was highlighted in the New York Law Journal for his representation of a Fortune 500 client in the defense of a proposed $15 billion class action suit in which he was successful in having the entire case moved to an out-of-state court of his client's choosing.

In 2011, Texas Lawyer named Trowbridge "Litigator of the Week" for his victory in obtaining a seven-figure, non-dischargeable, federal bankruptcy court judgment against a real estate investment company and holding its individual owner personally liable as the alter-ego of the company. In 2010, Trowbridge obtained a multi-million dollar judgment on behalf of the nation's largest privately held bank against a former Major League Baseball player.

In 2009, one of his verdicts - for a Lanham Act unfair competition case - was named a "Top Texas Verdict" and ranked number four in the annual "Top Business Law Verdicts" of the year list according to VerdictSearch. From 2006 through 2012, Trowbridge has been named to Texas Monthly's "Rising Stars" list five times.

Outside the office, Trowbridge is actively involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD), serving as vice-chairman of the board of directors and on the executive committee. In February, he co-chaired BGCD's annual "The Billiard Ball," selling out the event for the first time ever and raising close to $300,000 for the clubs.

Trowbridge is also involved with the Dallas Museum of Art, serving on the Advisory Committee of the museum's Junior Associates Circle, a Dallas area under-40 professional group with more than 700 members. He co-chaired Junior Associates in 2008.

In addition to being named as "The Warrior" in Modern Luxury Dallas' 2012 "Men of Style" issue, Trowbridge was recognized in 2011 for his community involvement as one of 20 finalists for "ONE MAN Dallas," a program that encourages men to volunteer with charitable organizations and engage in community projects. Trowbridge was nominated by the BGCD for his efforts on behalf of the organization.

Trowbridge is a graduate of Baylor University where he earned both a J.D. (1998) and a B.B.A. (1995). Trowbridge has been an attorney with Bell Nunnally for more than 12 years, and he currently chairs the firm's Marketing and Business Development Committee.

Trowbridge, along with the entire slate of 2012 Dallas Business Journal "40 Under Forty" recipients, will be featured in the August 24 print edition of the publication and honored on August 23 at a cocktail reception from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Granada Theater in Dallas.
