  • (1888PressRelease) June 11, 2011 - Beijing Shield Science and Technology to Debut Water-based Inkjet Coding Equipment

The State Food and Drug Administration has urged Chinese packaging and printing manufacturers to quickly expand their business to electronic supervision printing services, in order to comply with the new electronic drug supervision system in China.

In response to this call, and to help the industry adapt to the new regulations, SinoFoldingCarton 2011 will, for the first time, feature an Electronic Supervision Code Segment. This Reed Exhibitions event is key to the packaging and printing industry. It will be held from July 6 to July 8 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. A large number of local and international printing companies will showcase advanced electronic supervision code printing equipment. They will also use the show as a channel through which to exchange ideas on best practice and cutting edge technologies.

Beijing Shield Science and Technology, a rising star in the electronic supervision industry, will exhibit in the new Electronic Supervision Code Segment. The company recently debuted its new SD9280-W water-based inkjet code-printing machine. The equipment uses water-based inkjet print heads, which not only extend the machine's service life, but also concentrate power in the ink-provision system. This has solved the long-time problem of excessive wasted ink by regular inkjet print heads. The speed at which the machine operates is another key new feature; it prints up to 150 meters per minute.

Established in 2004, Beijing Shield Science and Technology is a manufacturer that specializes in general printing, anti-counterfeiting techniques, security printing and variable barcode and data printing. The company aims to develop hi-tech software and hardware products for local and international customers.

Independent and innovative, Beijing Shield Science and Technology currently has several mature product lines. They include:

    • Shield oil-based digital inkjet printers: The SD6600 and SD6680 series are used for variable barcode printing in bills, direct mail and delivery sheets.
    • Shield UV digital inkjet printing: The SD9900 series, used in variable barcode printing in the field of packaging, labels, cards and electronic supervision.
    • Shield online monitoring system and paper delivery platform: This includes a rewinding platform and a flat-bed platform suitable for all sizes. It can be connected to the inkjet system.
    • Shield Bill ERP Management System: This is an improved bill printing management system with enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

The Shield Security Design System and the Shield Hidden Security Image Printing System both use high-end plate making security techniques based on software with high anti-counterfeiting performance. They are also more attractive and - most importantly - low in cost. To date, the systems are predominantly used on bills, labels, packaging, cards, etc.

At SinoFoldingCarton 2011, Beijing Shield Science and Technology will highlight anti-counterfeiting techniques, as well as various barcode and data printing solutions for prospective and existing customers. At our booth, visitors from the folding carton industry will gain a deep insight into electronic supervision code printing equipment. The show is an ideal opportunity for visitors who work in tax, finance, the postal service, banking, aviation, insurance and telecommunications to broaden their horizons by evaluating the merits of our profit-boosting technologies.
