  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) January 29, 2015 - Pub crawl kingpins, Festa Parties, has pushed it to the limits once again. The event will be held February 21, 2015, from 12 pm - 9 pm. The 7th Annual BeadQuest, will focus heavily on keeping NoLa traditions and authenticity alive on the twenty-bar route in Wrigleyville. BeadQuest will kick off the Opening Ceremonies at John Barleycorn at 12 pm. Everyone will gather here to catch their first set of numbered beads, and enjoy a homemade crawfish boil and delicious, Creole side items.

Following the Opening Ceremonies, pub crawlers will start their journey collecting the next nine sets of beads, inside twenty nearby bars and restaurants. Throughout the day, pub crawlers can expect to sample various foods from the bayou, follow a marching brass band down Clark St. and into Cubby Bear, catch thousands of beads from the Bead Tossers along the route, get painted by professional body and face painters, and finish up with Southern-style deserts at the Closing Ceremonies at Slugger's World Class Sports Bar & Grill.

"BeadQuest has always been an entertaining event that people really get into after hibernating for the winter. This year, we'd like to expand on the excitement by really focusing on bringing the New Orleans experience to Chicago, giving our crawlers something to really celebrate! And if you didn't have a Valentine the week before, this is the PERFECT chance for you to find some late winter romance!" says Festa Parties Owner, Christopher Festa.

All pub crawlers will be able to enjoy a variety of drink specials on Bud Light, various Goose craft beers and the soon-to-be-launched, Bud Light Hurricane Mixx Tails. In addition to drink specials, all participating bars will offer traditional Cajun and Creole samplings of gumbo, jambalaya, dirty rice, boiled crawfish, fried shrimp and chicken, along with other NoLa-inspired dishes, all for only $3 per each tasting.

All crawlers must register online and purchase a wristband for entry to the event. Wristands will be checked at the doors of all participating bars and restaurants. Tickets are only $20 online; however, Early Bird and other discounts can be found on the Festa Parties Twitter and Facebook pages.
