(1888PressRelease) September 14, 2012 - Fine Artist Bea Lamar's large scale installation is set to take place during the Nuit Blanche Ottawa on September 22nd, 2012 from 18:22 til 6:22 at Hintonburg Zone-1000 Wellington West.
The artist will be creating an aerial installation compromised of a series of large and small sculptures that will light up Ottawa's skies during Nuit Blanche Ottawa.

Entitled "U.F.O.: United Fresh Optimism"; the art installation experiments with motion, light, space, interaction and projection art.

The U.F.O. invasion's mission is to remind everyone of the beauty of the World we live in, embrace everyone with hope and inspire love with every vision. U.F.O.s will be floating in the White Night sky, emitting light while carrying unique messages of unity, love, and optimism to everyone.

There will also be several small UFOs carrying messages from NBO's audiences floating around the city. The winners will be selected utilizing a social media competition. It is open to everyone's participation at http://www.facebook.com/UnitedFreshOptimism

Nuit Blanche Ottawa will present a spectacular array of visual, media and performance art from the National Capital region and around the world, paying homage to the incredible creative human spirit. In the darkest of times, artists have been able to shine light where there was none; capable of reimagining the world as a perfect place where peace, love and equality reigns for all.

An exhibition like no other, incorporating performances, new media, street art, video installations, and interdisciplinary art, Nuit Blanche Ottawa will be a passionate manifestation of our collective hopes and dreams.
