They first played in the White House as granddaughters of President George H. W. Bush. They returned to the White House as college students when their father, President George W. Bush, was elected the 43rd president of the United States.     In the years since their father left office, Ms. Bush and Ms. Hager have carved out unique roles for themselves volunteering and working for organizations around the world addressing issues such as literacy, global hunger, and healthcare.

    Barbara Bush graduated from Yale University with a degree in humanities in 2004. Before founding Global Health Corps in December 2008, she worked for two years in Educational Programming at the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. She is a regular contributor to the UK magazine POP.

    Jenna Hager is a contributing correspondent to NBC's Today where she focuses on telling the inspiring stories of wonderful people doing great things across America. In 2006, Hager traveled to Latin America as an intern with UNICEF. During her journey, she was inspired to write Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope, a New York Times bestseller.
