    As vice president, Lowe will oversee lending and business development. He has worked in the banking industry for 21 years and graduated from Mid South School of Banking in Memphis, TN. Prior to joining Bank Independent, Lowe held similar roles with The Citizens Bank of Moulton and Dekalb Bank of Crossville. He has been a member of the Hartselle Kiwanis Club for 12 years.

    In the role of vice president/sales officer at the Athens branch, Cook will focus on commercial and consumer lending. With 14 years of experience in the banking industry, Cook's expertise includes Commercial RE, Consumer RE, small business loans and SBA lending. He graduated from the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a bachelor's degree in finance and attended the Alabama Banking School. He currently serves on the Kiwanis Club's Board of Directors and as the club secretary.
