  • (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2012 - One hundred kindergarten and primary school students have joined the Vedic Math Competition 2012, an annual math competition presented by Math Monkey (Hong Kong) Limited and Vedic Math Hong Kong Association. The event will be held at CITA on November 25, 2012.

    There are a total of 6 levels for students to compete this year, which include level of Green Monkey (K3), Lemur (P1), Chimpanzee (P2), Orangutan (P3), Baboon (P4) and Gorilla (P5 - P6). Competitors will be awarded according to their marks: First Class Award, Second Class Award, and Third Class Award. One Champion from each level will be awarded a medal and a cup.

    The Awarding Ceremony of Vedic Math Competition will be started after the grading of the competition papers. We also invite our guest speaker, Mr Ricky Chan, sharing on 'How to raise a child's self-discipline of thinking and math ability?' Mr. Ricky Chan is certified as Brain-Based Trainer by Jensen Learning Cooperation and Ricky was recognized as a "Habits of Mind" Trainer in Hong Kong by Professor Arthur Costa.
