  • (1888PressRelease) March 13, 2014 - Old Lyme, CT - Audio specialist Sennheiser is proud to win an iF Product Design Award this year in the "Audio/Video" category for its LSP 500 PRO public address system.

The LSP 500 PRO wireless PA system combines excellent sound with a puristic design. What is more, it can be easily controlled by a specially developed app, making it extremely user-friendly. It was this combination of design, interactive usability and innovation that convinced the International Forum Design jury. This year, the 49 design specialists judged a total of 3,249 products submitted.

"The newly developed design language gives the PA system a striking, professional appearance," said Oliver Berger, Global Design Manager at Sennheiser. "We are very pleased that the uncompromising combination of usability and design in the LSP 500 PRO impressed the international experts."

Being optimised for speech, the LSP 500 PRO displays its strengths in a wide range of application areas. It comes with numerous practical features that make it the ideal choice for corporate use, conference hotels, PA rental companies and countless other applications. The PA system can be controlled by the LSP 500 PRO app offering maximum user-friendliness.

Each Sennheiser LSP 500 PRO can take up to three receivers for wireless microphones, and each also has a socket for using a wired microphone. It is additionally equipped with a USB connector and a Bluetooth interface as well as an AUX input and output. If more than one loudspeaker is being used, one of them can be defined as the master and then connected with the other speakers - the slaves - via a wireless link.

For all those interested in good design, all of the award-winners are on show in the iF Online Exhibition at www.ifdesign.de and for the first time also in the new iF DESIGN App. All winners will also be published in the iF yearbook.
