Under the auspices of the Cuban Teacher Union, the University of Havana and the University of Santiago de Cuba, Authentic Cuba Travel has launched four official tours to Cuba for North American professors, teachers, and educators for 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) December 11, 2010 - Authentic Cuba Travel has announced four official tours to Cuba for North American educators in 2011. The tours will take place in April, June, July and December next year, and will visit UNESCO Heritage Sites in Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Vinales, Cienfuegos and Trinidad cities.
Registration would be limited to 20 participants per tour. Cost is low to ensure that hard working professors and teachers can attend. The purpose of the tours is for North American educators to get a sense of Cuba's Education System, culture, history and people.
Tour highlights include:
Visit to the University of Havana
Visit to the University of Santiago de Cuba
Visit to the Latin America School of Medicine
Visit to the Higher Institute of Arts
Visit to primary and secondary schools and many more educational activities.
All 2011 tours are licensable for U.S. professors, teachers, and educators interested in conducting professional research on the Cuban education system and exchange with Cuban counterparts.
