  • (1888PressRelease) August 14, 2021 - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring high-performance varistors from Littelfuse in the latest edition of THE EDGE - Transportation.

The Littelfuse AUMOV Varistor Series is designed for automotive applications requiring load dump, jump start and surge voltage transient protection. They offer 50% greater surge withstanding capability than existing technologies on the market for low DC voltage applications. The maximum peak surge current is rated up to 5KA (8/20μs pulse) to protect sensitive automotive systems from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient events.

Littelfuse AUMOV Varistors provide an ideal circuit protection solution for lower DC voltage automotive applications, whether they're located in the vehicle's passenger compartment or under the hood. They are particularly suitable for use in harsh under-hood environments with operating temperatures up to 125°C.
