(1888PressRelease) February 01, 2011 - Calgary, Alberta - John MacDonald, President and CEO of Alberta Safety and Environmental Services (ASE Services), announced today the hiring of a full time Environmental Safety Consultant. Thuy Nguyen, a veteran in Alberta's hazardous materials industry, has been awarded the position.

"We are growing and so we wanted to bring on someone with lots of experience and who is well respected in Alberta's hazardous materials industry," explains MacDonald.

As a core member of the safety team Nguyen will provide the necessary guidance to ensure that work areas are safe for workers and the public. "One of her main responsibilities will be to provide air monitoring and inspections during renovation and demolition projects," explains MacDonald, "We will also be utilizing her experience and her ability to do site assessments, inspections, analyze samples, and write reports."
