(1888PressRelease) July 07, 2015 - The main Art Auction promises to be a lively and exciting event since it will be streamed online for participants unable to attend the event in Panama City. With more than 30 pieces of artwork generously donated by a group of highly significant artists including Al Sprague, Lucio Kansuet, Rolo de Sedas, Fernando Toledo, George Scribner, Alexis Benalcazar, Brooke Alfaro, Octavio Arosemena, Oswaldo Kantule, to mention but a few. The collection includes an eclectic mix of contemporary, postmodern and traditional paintings, works on paper, and sculpture.

A Silent Auction which will open before the main Live Art Auction, will include some unique and exceptional items of interest including luxurious custom jewelry creations by Vernon Wilson, several designer watches as well as some superb, stylish home accessories and gift certificates to Panama's top restaurants, hotels and spas.

The goal of the event is to raise upwards of $50,000 to further assist the charities that The American Society of Panamá supports including the Educational scholarship program for under-funded students and the Sister Barbara at MUCEC in Colon as well as the Hermanas del Buen Pastor, an at-risk mothers and children's home.

Champagne, Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be prepared and served by celebrity chef Charlie Collins, as well as musical interludes by Anna Williams Rodriguez (piano), and Dj Gigi Oro & Melanie Taylor (violin) of BPM Panama.
