ARIEL Theatrical is a nonprofit theatre arts program for children, adolescents and young adults throughout Monterey County . Located in Salinas , California , ARIEL provides a comprehensive theatre experience that imparts the joys of learning and performing while teaching positive life values. Since 1989 ARIEL has served thousands of Monterey and San Benito County children using theatre as a venue to encourage young people to be their finest selves. Young people who participate in ARIEL programs benefit from the development of communication, problem solving and time management skills that enable them to speak with greater confidence, think on their feet, and collaborate on a common goal. ARIEL's most significant work is fostering in our youth an understanding of the importance of choosing well and wisely those attitudes and behaviors that will help them make positive and productive life choices now and in the future.

ARIEL productions are enriching, ennobling experiences for both participating children and audience. ARIEL provides opportunities for the large numbers of children who attend our performances to experience live theatre and to see their peers making a positive contribution to their community. To date, well over 200,000 children and adults have attended ARIEL productions.

Our Mission: ARIEL Theatrical, Inc. seeks to use the art and discipline of theatre to inspire young people to understand that personal integrity, respect for others and an acceptance of responsibility for choices made are the keys to building a productive life.
