Apeejay Institute of Technology celebrated Annual Fest

  • (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2011 - The fest aimed at providing opportunities to the young budding managers to mingle with their contemporaries, share views and participate in debates on the impact of budget 2011 on various economic activities. The event was attended by participants from 10 B-Schools in NCR forming more than 20 contestant teams.

    The event was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Sahdev, Vice-Present-HR, Moser Baer India Ltd. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the role of leadership, entrepreneurship and role models for success in business professional lives. Events such as 'ORATORY WIZARD' provided a forum to share views and learn from each others experiences. The topic "Impact of Union Budget-2011" on burgeoning topics such as Banking, Automobile, Import-Export, Pharmaceutical was organized for deepening the understanding the way the industry react to such initiatives of the external environment.

    The debate competition had intense discussions, presentations and portfolios development. An eminent jury judged the performance of the various team and decided to award First Prize to the Students-team of School of Management for Women, AIT, Greater Noida, the Second Prize to the students-team of FMG School of Studies, Greater Noida, and the Third Prize to the students-team of School of Computer Science, AIT, Greater Noida.

    'Dreams on Paper' a Painting Competition with the theme - Green Environment was also successfully organized. The First Prize was bagged by the team from FMG School of Studies, Greater Noida and the Second Prize by the team of School of Architecture & Planning, AIT, Greater Noida. 'Call of the Siren' - a Singing Competition, attracted participants from different institutes/colleges of Delhi-NCR. In this event the First Prize went to a student of BBS Institute of Pharma, Greater Noida and the Second Prize was won by a student of School of Computer Science, AIT Greater Noida.

    'Fashio Glitze' - a Fashion Show Competition focusing on the themes, Retro, Go-green, and Cultural Diversity was also held. The event got an overwhelming response from the different institutes/colleges of Delhi-NCR. Here, the First Prize was bagged by a group of students from Kailash Institute of Nursing & Para-medical Sciences, Greater Noida and the Second Prize by that of from School of Management, AIT Greater Noida.
