Kids and teens, ages 6-17, may write in a genre of their choosing, within a 1,500 word limit. One winner will be chosen from each of six age categories, and one Grand Prize winner will be selected to receive a Nintendo DSi XL. Deadline is October 30, 2010.     The purpose of the annual contest is to celebrate the creative writing talents of today's kids and teens. This year's Short Story Contest celebrates a long tradition at Amazing Kids! for encouraging and fostering kids' creativity through their fun and challenging kids' contests, and their award-winning, kid-created Amazing Kids! Online Magazine which showcases kids' creative writing and artwork from around the world.
