  • (1888PressRelease) August 30, 2017 - Cancer is a random killer. It can strike any one of us at any time. Join the Brandeis University Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity as they host a recruitment drive at their Pie a Pi fundraiser to register potential bone marrow donors to benefit patients suffering from diseases like leukemia and lymphoma whom are in need of a marrow transplant.

The drive, held on behalf of Gift of Life Marrow Registry, will be on Thursday, August 31, 2017 on campus at Usdan Dining Hall and will run from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to participate in the donor drive. It’s fast and painless. If you are between the ages of 18 and 45 and in general good health, you are eligible to be screened and join the worldwide registry for patients in need. A simple swab from the inside of your cheek is all it takes to determine if you are someone’s life-saving match.
