  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) January 06, 2012 - Shi Shi Putter™ announces that Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine has signed on as a media sponsor for AGORA, the first-of-its-kind fashion and trunk show for women golfers that will take place 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at the W Hollywood, located at 6250 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Calif. The magazine is considered the premier luxury magazine serving the Beverly Hills, California area, celebrating all that is elegant, opulent, and chic.

"Beverly Hills Lifestyle is a great partner for AGORA because the event is all about bringing style and high-end golf clothing and inspiration to women golfers," says Fashion Stylist and CEO and Founder of Shi Shi Putter™ Elizabeth Noblitt. "The magazine brings the best of everything to its readers, and that's what we're doing for women golfers with this event.

AGORA will unite designers of new, fashionable women's golf apparel with women golfers, celebrities, stylists and fashion media. Noblitt's philosophy is that women who golf need to express their style, both on and off the golf course. The functional and feminine styles of the women-owned golf clothing companies featured at AGORA, allow women to take their fashion sense wherever they go. Some of the companies that will be featured include Evan Golf, girls golf, Grace & Game Golf, Toby Tucker Golf and more.

A portion of proceeds from AGORA will benefit the EWGA Foundation, whose mission is to create and fund education and leadership programs for women of all ages. Specifically, proceeds will be donated to the Women on Par® scholarship, providing financial aid for women over 30 who are pursuing undergraduate degrees, an often overlooked demographic in financial aid programs. In honor of Women's History Month and to continue empowering women, attendees are encouraged to bring accessories to donate to Dress for Success, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and accessories, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Through AGORA and future endeavors, Elizabeth hopes to revolutionize the game of golf to make it more welcoming for women who enjoy the sport and want to maintain their sense of style.

Tickets to AGORA are $249 and include cocktails and appetizers, a fashion show, swag bags and a chance to shop for the latest styles in golf attire.
