AddWeb donates for the ‘Promote Drupal Initiative’
Contributing Towards the Upscalement of Drupal - The Quality-Driven Open Source Community.

It has also been an active contributor, towards the Drupal community, both - monetarily and non-monetarily. Lately, many new and non-technical decision makers has been having a their influence on the Drupal community. It is of vital importance to show them and the other organisations, what makes Drupal one of the most ambitious digital experience. The Drupal community has launched the ‘Promote Drupal Initiative’ that aims to gather an amount upto $100,000 of fund, which will be utilised in coordinating the volunteer work, marketing sprints and resource support.
The initiative has been divided into four major phases, viz.
1) Drupal’s overall brand enhancement to connect with the new decision makers
2) Providing sales and marketing resources
3) Planning and Implementing PR Campaigns
4) Creating marketing campaigns that support local ads and industry’s event marketing
Being an active part of the Quality-Drive Open Source Community - Drupal, AddWeb realised that contributing to this entire fundraising initiative was one of the core responsibility of a Drupal community member. And hence, opted to be a responsible donor and be a supporter of this game-changer initiative by Drupal. Announced at the recent event of DrupalCon, Nashville, April 2018 by Dries Buytaert, the Promote Drupal Initiative is meant to make the big influencers and decision makers realise the worth of Drupal.
The startling fact about this initiative is that it has already received the donation worth $54,000 and that too in such a short period of time. And it’s a proud moment for AddWeb to be one amongst the few such donors of the campaign.
