  • Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) February 04, 2015 - TAMPA, Fla. - Ad 2 Tampa Bay has been chosen as a finalist in two categories of the 2015 WEDU Be More Awards: The "Be More Informed" Nielsen Marketing Campaign Award and the "Be More Unstoppable" Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award. Ad 2 Tampa Bay selected The Junior League of Tampa on behalf of The Community Campaign Against Human Trafficking (now known as The FREE Network), as their 2013-2014 annual Public Service client. Ad 2 Tampa Bay's pro-bono integrated marketing campaign, the Abolish Movement, grew into one of the largest human trafficking campaign efforts in the Bay area and was valued at over $738,000. The mission of the Abolish Movement is to bring an end to the child sex slavery epidemic in the Tampa Bay area through education, prevention, support services and legislative advocacy.

    The Be More Awards recognize many aspects of nonprofit work, including the execution of creative and results-driven original marketing campaigns using various multimedia platforms. The criteria to win the Be More Unstoppable award includes level of community impact, financial viability and embodiment of overall community goodwill. Winners of this year's awards will be announced at WEDU's luncheon ceremony on Thursday, February 12.
