Jeff Colton, CEO of DayMen and Director of Maxwell International, a wholly-owned DayMen subsidiary, stated that DayMen, owners of the Lowepro and JOBY brands, has corporately decided to concentrate on brand development and design. Following discussions with some of Maxwell's other supplier principals, Tamron lenses will also shift to TNS. Discussions with Maxwell's other suppliers are currently under way to ensure continuity of supply, of which further details are expected in coming days.

Mr Colton, who is visiting Australia this week, made the announcement to all Maxwell staff on Thursday morning, 31st March. Further details will be released over the next two weeks.

TNS Founders, John McHugh & Ivan Eustace said from the company's Irish headquarters, "We have partnered with DayMen for a number of years now in the supply of JOBY products to the global retail network.

It's also exciting to be part of the growth of JOBY from its photographic roots to the Action camera, mobility and sporting technology market. We are delighted that Tamron has also agreed to our appointment, based on our strong commitment to a new photographic operation and their impressive technology strengths.

"Following the DayMen announcement to the Maxwell staff, TNS looks forward to meeting with many of the Maxwell team members in coming days and hopes to announce staff transfers for many employees," said Ivan Eustace.
