3SIXTY, A media platform that can integrate all your media content and devices, will soon be on Indiegogo.
- (1888PressRelease) November 15, 2015 - New Start-up 3SIXTY, announced today that it will be launching a funding campaign using the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo effective January 15, 2016. The company aims to raise $100,000 to produce the first batch of 3SIXTY in next 6 months.
"We originally built this for our own benefit. There is an overwhelming number of sources that media content is stored in, and an ever increasing number of devices to play them in. Our media content was scattered everywhere and it wasn't easy to locate a movie, not to mention the hassle of playing it on the desired device. " says the company's CEO Manusha Wijekoon.
3SIXTY hardware provides multi-room wireless connectivity that syncs all the media and playback devices. This platform provides unified access to all the personal media, both stored locally (smartphones, desktops, NAS etc.) and remotely (cloud, streaming services etc.).
Users can play content straight from the mobile using the 3SIXTY all-in-one app. It's simple as searching a movie and selecting the device to play it in. They no longer require media-servers, streaming boxes or cast dongles to make home media networks. 3SIXTY replaces these with a unified platform.
3SIXTY automatically finds and displays background information about movie or music file. These include Ratings, Cast, Production, Plot Summaries, Album covers and even more.
